Its review : Very nice/cute hotel. Next time we are in Paris, we would like to stay here or at the sister hotel down the street. Only suggestion, get internet printer in Empereur also. Service was very good and friendly. |

Its review : The hotel is in a wonderful location in the 7th Arrondisement just across from Les Invalides and around the corner from the Rodin Museum. The breakfast is quite nice, served in an attractive sitting area. Our bathroom was very large and clean. Those are the pluses. On the negative side, everything about the hotel seems tired and worn out. While we were there, a pipe burst somewhere, and the water was pouring through the ceiling in the reception area. The carpets are old and stained. Our bedroom was tiny, and some of our lightbulbs had burned out but were not replaced with new ones. N.B. to those considering staying here in the summer: there is no air conditioning. We encountered unusually hot days in early June and when we complained that our room was sweltering, we were provided with a small rotating fan. Fortunately, we use a hotel primarily for sleeping, so the Empereur was (barely) adequate for our needs. My wife described it as a "fleabag", which is not too far off the mark. |

Its review : The hotel has a very good quality-price relation. It is placed next to Les Invalides, and at a 10 minutes walk to the Tour Eiffel (just 5 minutes to the Parc du Champ de Mars), with a metro station (line 8) at a 2-3 minutes walk. The room is a little small, with a double bed, a small desk, two chairs and a small wardrobe. The bathroom was very clean and new (it seemed the kind of a 3 star hotel). The heating of the room was very good, as we had no cold sensation while outside was snowing. The staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly, but we were satisfied with their behaviour, as they always seemed helpful (they let us leave our suitcases in the hotel for some hours after the check-out). We did not have breakfast in the hotel, as we found it to be expensive (10 euros). The overall impression of the hotel is that it was a very well located hotel, clean and not expensive compared with the rest of the hotels round the same zone. If we hat to come back to Paris, we would go the same hotel again with no doubt. |

Its review : Has to be the best best value in all of Paris. You can pay more and have a nicer room or pay less and be in the center of the city but this hotel give you the best combination. |
